Based in Staten Island, New York, Addis Wiley has acquired professional experience in a variety of jobs. During his early career, he served for two years as a data-entry specialist at Erisco, a subsidiary of Dun and Bradstreet, working on medical files. Later, he worked at the Techno Construction Company before finding his calling with the New York City Transit Authority/MTA as a bus operator. Holding a Class B Passenger Endorsement Commercial Driver's License (CDL), he drove buses in both New York and New Jersey from 1997 to 2023.
Mr. Wiley studied sports education and computer science at SUNY Morrisville and SUNY College of Staten Island. He also completed biblical studies at the R.C. Lawson Bible Institute and has served as an ordained elder at the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith since 2002, performing marriages, funerals, and administering communion.
In his free time, Addis Wiley enjoys staying fit and traveling on cruise ships. He is also an avid chess player, winning a trophy at the MLK Chess Tournament at Staten Island’s St. Philip’s Baptist Church.
